The Government of the People’s Republic of China has extended financial support to assist communities affected by the M7.7 Mandalay Earthquake in Myanmar in March 2025.
The Cash Assistance Agreement was signed by H.E. Hou Yanqi, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to ASEAN, and Mr. Lee Yam Ming, Executive Director of the AHA Centre. The signing ceremony was witnessed by H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN; H.E. Aung Myo Myint, Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to ASEAN; and H.E.
