The AHA Centre had a fantastic time in the Philipp The AHA Centre had a fantastic time in the Philippines, when we held #OneASEANOneResponse (#OAOR) Roadshow Philippines and 3rd ASEAN Joint Disaster Response Plan (AJDRP) Workshop back-to-back from 18 to 20 September 2023.

The AJDRP serves a framework for strengthening regional collective response and operationalising standby arrangements with the participation of #ASEAN sectoral bodies and partners. This 3rd workshop aimed to strengthen understanding of the standby arrangements mechanisms and refine current AJDRP scenarios by reviewing current gaps, and exploring ways to improve communication and coordination with local and international humanitarian agencies, as well as the private sector.

Meanwhile the OAOR Roadshow aims to equip key stakeholders in the Philippines with a deeper understanding of OAOR and ASEAN regional mechanisms. As the last roadshow of the year, we hope that this event has been able to contribute to the enhancement of ASEAN’s collective disaster response efforts.

Thank you to the Office of Civil Defense @civildefense.ph for hosting the events, and thank you #Philippines for a memorable week!

The One ASEAN One Response Roadshow and 3rd ASEAN Joint Disaster Response Plan are supported by the European Union @euinasean through #EUSAHA
