SURABAYA, 14 March 2024, The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre) launched the 4th Edition of its annual ASEAN Risk Monitor and Disaster Management Review (ARMOR) on 14 March 2024 in Surabaya, Indonesia.
The ARMOR 4th Edition’s theme is “Rendering 2023 Disastergram: Is ASEAN going to the right path for Sustainable Resilience?” featuring ten articles from various stakeholders, including NDMOs, academia, and partners. Since 2019, ARMOR has been serving as one of the platforms to consolidate knowledge and emerging trends in ASEAN’s disaster risk landscape to inform policy and operational decision-making.
On this occasion, the AHA Centre also launched its Grant and Partnership Management Portal (ATLAS) as a dynamic web-based portal to manage all cooperation arrangements including Memorandum of Intent (MoI) and grants from all of the AHA Centre’s partners efficiently.
Both ARMOR and ATLAS are funded by the European Union through the Integrated Programme in Enhancing the Capacity of the AHA Centre and ASEAN Emergency Response Mechanisms (EU-SAHA).
